Professor Sheng Yalu is a renowned European sinologist who, for decades, has not only taught the Chinese language but also written and published a large number of books on the Chinese legal system. His book “Wisdom” has been translated into more than a dozen languages and has become a must-read for many politicians and entrepreneurs in the West. Since studying in China in the late 1970s, he has been following the development of China, especially the development of the legal system. “The reform and opening-up have made China’s legal system more and more perfect.” Professor Seung-Ja-Ru is also a member of the Swiss-Chinese Law Association.
