On the afternoon of July 29, 2021, the Swiss China Law Association (SCLA) and Shenzhen Baoan Sino-German (European) Industry Development Cooperation Alliance (BIDA) held an online signing ceremony to sign a strategic cooperation memorandum on further deepening international cooperation. SCLA member Lord Daniel Brennan, a member of the British House of Lords, and more than 20 international lawyers from Germany, Poland, the UK, the US, and Nigeria witnessed this important moment. They had a preliminary discussion on the possibility of future cooperation between the two sides. As a result, the two sides reached a basic consensus on providing legal services for BIDA members by members of the Swiss-Chinese Law Association and discussed further possibilities.

Shenzhen Baoan Sino-German (European) Industry Development Cooperation Alliance was established in November 2016, aiming at high-level docking to German Industry 4.0 and European advanced technology. It will further accelerate the establishment of intelligent manufacturing enterprises and dialogue mechanisms between industries, build industrial and technological exchange platforms, and promote the layout cooperation and win-win development between the whole region and Europe and Germany in the industrial field.
